The owner of Grandfather's Collection, Mr. Chor Teck Chai or known as Mr. Teck and his wife has started the business since the year of Central Market was built on 1988. They are among the earliest peoples who owns and runs the shop at the Central Market and they both runs the business by themselves.

Before meeting his wife, he was so passionate on antique and vintage things such as clock, statue and others. His wife, was very passion about accessories and jewelries, thus they decided to combine their passion which resulted on each products they are selling right now.

The uniqueness of this shop is,the prices are negotiable, the quality of the product is good and some accessories are imported from china and some are made in Malaysia.

In our opinion, grandfather collection is an interesting shop because some of the accessories are made from traditional resources such as coconut, wood, coral and stones.

He displays the prices obviously on each item so that local customer or foreigners could know how much the prices are without asking him. Moreover, the prices are relatively cheap which enhance the interest of customer to visit and purchase the accessories. Those reasons are also the basic of idea why we choose the shop.
